That moment when you find love, trust and honour in the eyes of everyone.
That moment when your worst enemy becomes the demon himself.
That same moment when your best moment becomes your worst nightmare.

Enjoy the thrills of how far life would sacrifice for love. Yesterday is always a shadow you can not escape, today is a dream worth living, yet tomorrow shall forever remain the wonder of nature hidden to all.

A *shattered* past in itself is a shattered tomorrow.

EPISODE 25

I should have returned her call when I missed it.

Me: mama, welcome. You never told me you were coming here. You could have called me.
Mum: hmmm...I didn't know the program was being held here until I gave the card to the driver. Do you remember I told you to come over to the house but you said you were busy and can't make it. Anyway, how are you and who are these beautiful people in your company?
Me: As you can see I'm fine. Meet my friends. (I introduced them accordingly) We are six in number. The other one is the one getting married.
Mum: O really? So she's your sister in law?
Me: what? Sister in what? That was my best friend.
My friends heard her and wanted to verify if their ears were not deceiving them, so they intentionally said, "mama, she meant one of us is the bride."
Mum: I heard her very well. The guy in question is my son, Dede's brother. She's never met him before.
(O my God! How can this happen to me? I almost felt like collapsing, but my friends were quick enough to revive me by fanning me. I turned to Mariama and gave her a stern look.)

I excused myself and went to sit in my chair. They all followed. None understood my actions, but Mariama did.

Patience: Thessy, you should be happy your best friend is getting married to your brother. Or is it because you don't know him?
(Mariama was quick to jump in)
Mariama: it's always like that. You can't afford to be kept in the dark.
Me: I've always known I had a brother who was in the states. I'm happy he's getting married but not to a virteous woman like Ma-uuda.
(They didn't understand what I was trying to say).
All these while, the ceremony was ongoing. People cheered them as my supposed brother made his empty vows. I wish I could get something to hit him for him to die instantly. How can Ma-uuda get married to someone like this?

As for Mariama, only time would tell.
The M.C mounted the stage and said the father of the bride had something to say. We all cheered him as he walked majestically to stand by his daughter. I hated him but what more could I do? He didn't have the chance to enter me so I had to play along.

"Help! Help!! Please help us. Our mother is dying. Please!!", voices shouted behind us. We ran to the direction and it was my mum. I managed to use my little idea in first aid on her. I begged those around to move back, loosened her attire and fanned her. All these while, I had her head slightly tilted back. It didn't take much time to get her back to her feet. My friends helped me to take her to the rest room. I asked that she got some rest so that we get back to where they were having the program. It had almost come to a closure so we would show up once the program ended. I advised that Atswei stayed with her and gave her the necessary care she might need.

Right after the program, Ma-uuda came to us in the company of her husband. She saw whatever went on so she looked disturbed. "Who was that and what  happened to her?", she asked. "That was Thessy's mum. She's alright. She's currently in the rest room so don't worry. Just go and have a nice time with your guests. We will take care of her", Naa said. She didn't want to go without seeing her so we had to go in with her. All these while, her husband Quaku Adepa Nyamekye was with her. He couldn't watch me for even a second. We got to the room and met my other two aunties in there.
