No one appears to know the exact source of *river* yet it runs through all walks of life as it meanders its way along the many struggles of nature.
How far, how long, how wide can it stretch to exhibit it's commanding prowess over the storms of the day. Or shall it succumb to the harsh efforts of mother nature to subdue and collect this great water in a *lake*.

*RIVER IN THE LAKE*
EPISODE 17
Tutu apologized to him and dashed out. He returned few minutes after with a very small substance in hand. It looked like a piece of burnt cloth wrapped around a stick.
"Nana, this is the reason why I passed that comment. The old woman we met at the forest the other time dropped this in my palm. She told me not to tell you or give it out to you until you were facing any challenges. She said all we needed to do was to drop it in an open space, pour libation unto it and she would appear. She would be here to help us in all ways", Tutu said.
"Oow really? Then that means I wouldn't need to go. The gods are really wonderful. There, put it on the table. We will do as it has been said, but before then, let me get something to eat from my woman's pot", Nana said. Odeneho asked that his people be summoned again after he was done eating. He wanted to do this in their presence. He didn't want his people to think they were being deceived. He dressed up and asked that his wife took care of their son, Quaku Adepa Nyamekye. His wife didn't like the idea. She wanted to be there. After all, there were women around and that was their duty. The chief understood her and went with her.
He explained to his people his reason for calling them. He asked that they all had patience and supported him while he poured the libation to see the outcome.
Odeneho poured the libation on the substance and chanted some words. It took a very long time, and finally turned into a snake. They all ran away, but the chief called them back. He now believed it was really the old woman. Few seconds after, it turned into the old woman who helped them.
Odeneho Kwadwo Sintim was happy. At least, his people would know he didn't lie to them. They will hear it with their own ears.
Just when Odeneho was about to talk to the old woman, she raised her hand to stop him and asked, "what is this you have done? I see innocent blood running here. Whose son have you killed?" Nana was quick to answer by saying, "we have killed no one, but the stranger you talked of." "Stranger? Do you know the stranger. The stranger is still living with you. The throne you sit on is the stranger. There is no other stranger apart from the throne you occupy", the old woman said. They all turned to look at each other's faces. Why would the old woman say that? He was the rightful heir to the throne so what will make it a stranger? Odeneho's wife became scared. She couldn't stand on her feet anymore. Does it mean they have incurred the wrath of the gods by killing Asare Bediako? Hmmmm..they should have waited. They should have given him more time.
"...but the man we killed admitted he was the cause", Tutu said. "No! He wasn't the cause. He also had his problem to deal with. You have killed an innocent soul. Now, let me take you back to the days before you were born and how come you are living with the stranger", she said looking at Odeneho Kwadwo Sintim.
