No one appears to know the exact source of *river* yet it runs through all walks of life as it meanders its way along the many struggles of nature.

How far, how long, how wide can it stretch to exhibit it's commanding prowess over the storms of the day. Or shall it succumb to the harsh efforts of mother nature to subdue and collect this great water in a *lake*.

EPISODE 14

She ran after them and pleaded with them to stop. All these while, they were beating Asare Bediako. "Enough! My people, enough! Bring him here. Tutu, put before Asare what we were told and ask him what he has to say to that", Nana ordered Tutu. Tutu did as he was ordered to and this was what Asare had to say, "I came in search of greener pastures. I came that my friend here could help me. I'm not evil. I only left my village because whatever I touched didn't yield any fruitful results. Whoever I married died, so I decided to start life somewhere and this was how I ended up here."
"Ooow? You never told me this. Whoever you married died and whatever you touched didn't yield any fruitful results, so you thought it wise to come here and end everything for me. The gods are not asleep. You will go and join your wives", the chief said.

The chief's wife ran to him to apologise on behalf of Asare Bediako, but she was stopped by the guards. The chief ordered that they took the baby away from her, give him to one of the women of the palace and locked her up till they were done with whatsoever they were supposed to do.
The people of the village grunted and chanted that he be burn alive. The chief advised that they kept their calm, since the furnace was already being prepared.

They came to drag Asare Bediako away when the furnace became very hot. They battered him mercilessly, took off his cloth and threw him into the fire. They clapped and cheered as he begged for mercy. Odeneho Kwadwo Sintim left the scene when Asare Bediako was thrown into the fire. He left behind his people who saw to it he had burnt completely.
He went to his room and ordered the release of his wife. It seems she had been crying all that while. She went to the kitchen without saying a word to her husband. She did all she was supposed to do, got her husband's supper ready, waited for him to finish eating, then went to sleep.

She didn't talk to her husband that night. Nana became disturbed, drew closer to her and put his leg on her just to make her say something, but she still didn't say anything. She continued to enjoy her sleep.
