No one appears to know the exact source of *river* yet it runs through all walks of life as it meanders its way along the many struggles of nature.
How far, how long, how wide can it stretch to exhibit it's commanding prowess over the storms of the day. Or shall it succumb to the harsh efforts of mother nature to subdue and collect this great water in a *lake*.

*RIVER IN THE LAKE*
EPISODE 11
She picked it up, placed it where it's supposed to be and went ahead with her duties. All the while, Asare was standing there. What was preventing him from breaking the secret? Why wasn't he talking? Maybe Nana's wife could be of help before Nana made his final decision. He left to his chambers with a heavy heart without saying a word. As he turned to go, Nana's wife said, "You have really made the best choice. I thought I could help you, but it seems your heart is too heavy to transmit the information to your mouth...and even if your heart did it's part, your mouth has been sealed and ceased from performing it's functions. Just like that, you have become dumb. May the gods bless it. Shameful heart!"
Asare Bediako tried to open his mouth to say something, but just as Nana's wife had said, his mouth was too heavy for him to control it's movement. He turned and left for his room, with tears in his eyes.
He went to pack his things and decided to leave. He didn't want to cause more harm in the palace. His luggage wasn't huge to call for another hand. He put it under his arm and went out of the room.
"Where do you think you going? Order from Odeneho Kwadwo Sintim states emphatically that no one, I mean no is leaving this place. Just go to your room, place your luggage down and enjoy the serene environment and atmosphere", a guard who'd been watching over him all these while without his knowledge said.
"Please let me go. Allow me to go before the chief comes out of his room. He wouldn't know you permitted me to go please", Asare pleaded. "Permit you to go?
Mm, you want me to offer my head as a sacrifice to the gods simply because I couldn't obey simple instructions? My friend, you better enter your room before I call on the other guards to give you the treatment you deserve", the guard replied.
He realised the intensity of what was happening and left to his room. That was just close...sooo close. Nana was watching them all these while. Both of them could have ended up being subjected to punishment, if the guard had made any effort of trying to help him.
"Kwabena my humble servant, you have done well. He thought he could run away from his own shadows. You have done well. Where are the rest? Tell them to summon to me my people. They should all be at the village square within the next thirty minutes. Whoever doesn't turn up will have himself or herself to blame. Meanwhile, make sure Asare Bediako doesn't run away. Keep your eyes on him till I ask that you bring him to me at the meeting grounds. If he makes any attempt of running away, give him what he deserves", the chief said.
