No one appears to know the exact source of *river* yet it runs through all walks of life as it meanders its way along the many struggles of nature.
How far, how long, how wide can it stretch to exhibit it's commanding prowess over the storms of the day. Or shall it succumb to the harsh efforts of mother nature to subdue and collect this great water in a *lake*.

*RIVER IN THE LAKE*
EPISODE 16
They both giggled and slept.
It's been two days since Asare Bediako was killed by fire. There hasn't been any issue of death or sickness in the village. Indeed, Asare caused them more harm. Their animals were living healthy and multiplying, human beings were hale and hearty, their lands had even become fertile and water was always in abundance. That was the real Asabum.
As Nana and his wife sat in their cottage to think of how nice things have turned into since they eliminated the wicked soul, they heard some noise.
That was a strange one. It wasn't the voice of an individual. It was coming from a group of people. The noise took Nana out off his seat. He rushed out with his wife to find out where the noise was coming from and who they were.
Fortunately, he saw Tutu. Tutu began to talk even before he was questioned. "Nana, please if you have anywhere to hide, kindly do so. Our people are very angry. They are on their way here with machetes and sticks. They claim you lied to them. You deceived them.
They went to get water and it had turned bloody. As for today, they have lost all their animals. Not even a single one was left behind. They have recorded six deaths this morning, and they are all children. Nana, what do we do? We have taken the stranger away. We have taken the problem away. We have taken the "lake" away. Why then are we facing more challenges?"
The angry people of Asabum got to the palace still grunting. The guards managed to calm them.
"My people, this is no time to exchange pleasantries. I've heard everything, but you all know that we have managed to dry up the "lake". I don't know why all these is happening. Please, I know it is difficult but keep your calm for the meantime. I will undertake another journey with four of my guards tomorrow and we promise you nothing, but the best of results", Nana managed to convince his people. Odeneho returned to his wife. This time very disturbed and confused. He didn't know what to do. He thought the "lake" had dried up. He sat quietly for a while and called Tutu. He told him to make preparations towards their pending journey , and select three more guards. This time around, Tutu was reminded to add enough food and water for the journey. Tutu turned to go after Odeneho had spoken.
Just when he took few steps away from the chief, he stood quietly for a while. He had either forgotten or remembered something. "Ahaa, Nana, I'm not sure it would be of use to undertake this journey. I just remembered something", Tutu said. Nana got furious by his statement. "You are not sure that what? Are you the chief? Do you care about what they are encountering?" Tutu apologised to him and dashed out.
