*DEATH AFTER LIFE*
Episode 6
I couldn't ask her any questions so we both maintained the silence till we got to the hospital.
I saw Efia pacing up and down. I went to her and asked her what the issue was. She couldn't say a word. I directed the questions to Castive who told me the little girl had swallowed a coin and it had choked her. Though I was sad, I was bored as well. I asked of the whereabout of the father.
None was willing to answer my question. Does it mean Efia goes about opening her legs? I needed an answer to my question. Castive took me by the hand and told me who the little girl was. "She was picked up at the hospital when she was a day old. She lost the mum while she was being delivered. Efia has taken her as her own. "
What? That is very kind of her. Do we have such people on this planet? Everything about Efia was soo crazy. I regretted ever doing that. It's not a problem since I didn't question her or insult her about that. I can still go on with my relationship plans.
We saw the doctor and talked to him. He said we made a deposit of 300.00 cedis so they perform the surgery. I rushed to the ATM and cashed the money. I came to make the deposit for the surgery to be done. She underwent the surgery successfully.
I made sure their stay at the hospital was not hell. I got them a private ward so they could feel comfortable. Provisions were made available for them. Sooner than later, they were discharged from the hospital.
I took them home and got them enough money for their upkeep. That was the beginning of everything. I called often to check on them. We were getting intimate. I guess this is the time to make my intentions clear to her.
I called her to come over one Wednesday. Time wasn't on my side to beat about the bush. I went straight and told her I would want to marry her.
