Episode 7

I went straight and told her I would want to marry her.

She stared at me as if I had said the unthinkable. I was getting scared. Did I say something bad? She continued to stare at me as I bowed my head in shame waiting for the harsh words.
She finally held my hand and asked "when do you want to see my parents?"

Really? Was that what she really wanted to say? I was relieved now. I told her anytime she was ready I could go with her.
She said she would fix a day and call me. I was so happy that I couldn't hide my joy.

 Finally, I was going to be the owner of that body. I ordered for pizza for her and got her red wine.
It was all joy. I took her home after she was done. I headed to my house expecting to hear good news.

That night, I stayed on phone with her for long. She was nice to talk to. She fell asleep while we were talking so I finally hanged up. I asked God to protect her.
I couldn't sleep that night. All too soon, it was 6:00am. I picked my phone to call her but she rejected it, sending me a message that she was with her parents. I felt happy because the date was going to be fixed for me to meet her family.

She called in an hours time and told me I could come over if I closed from work. I wished I would not go to work but had some documents to sign, so I rushed there and signed them.

I left and drove to her place after work. I had the chance to meet her parents. I made clear my intentions. Since they didn't want any white wedding, it was not difficult for me to handle.

The date was finally set for the traditional marriage. It was a happy moment for us as we could not hide our joy.
