Episode 16 - *HOME AWAY FROM HOME*


I kept praying to God to grant me a special place in heaven.

She got closer. Fear gripped my bones as she held my hand. She was soft from within.
She didn't find any cause to harm me.

I felt relieved when she told me to calm down and talk to her. I told her all that happened, perhaps, she might give me some food to keep me alive.

She took me back to the bar, gave me some soap and water to wash my hands and then gave me some food and water to drink. I slept on one of the benches after eating.That was lifesaving.

It was later in the evening that she woke me up and asked that we went home together. I was scared, but I needed this help. I followed her to her house.

She had a daughter who was also a nursing mother. I'm sure that's why she understood my plight.

I was given a room to sleep and water to bath. They were nice to live with.
They did everything humanly possible to make sure I was okay.

....but wait, there is this thing about her that I still can't find answers to. Each time she saw me, tears dripped down her face. I'm sure I looked like a late sister or friend, or could there be more to it?
